Carnival In Yuh Backyard @ Downsview Park

**To Accomodate a larger capacity and keep the party going until 7am, Carnival In Yuh Backyard has now moved to Downsview Park and is no longer happening at 7th Heaven Golf Resort (All tickets purchased for 7th Heaven Golf Resort will still be honoured)**

More than 10,000 people attended last year's Carnival in Yuh Backyard outdoor soca concert / party. This year is set to break- no SMASH that record to pieces.

Carnival in Your Backyard has arguably become Toronto Caribana's largest and most popular party. Now that it is entering its seventh successful year, the bash or fete is moving to Downsview Park. No, this doesn't mean the promoters have gone stuffy on us, they just needed more space! Downsview Park has the capacity to hold 20,000 people and a massive 4 storey carnival style stage (excess is the name of the game kids)!

The Soca celebrations kick off at 7pm when the doors open (in case you want to get comfortable with the correct amount of drink tickets and pick up lines at your disposal). The Soca bands hit the stage at 9pm and will go hard till 7am! Some major names in Caribbean style soca will be performing here including: Y.O.U, Asylum, Traffik, Karma, Roy Cape, Shurwayne Winchester, Rikki Jai, JW & Blaze, Faye Ann Lyons, Bunji Garlin and more than 20 other acts.

Downsview Park may seem a bit of a hike from downtown Toronto where you'll be during the day for the parade, however think of it this way - Can you party with 15 - 20,000 people until 4am in downtown Toronto? Didn't think so. Plenty of parking will be available around the Park and transit options are also easy to access. Missed an hour in line at the bar last year? Problem solved - this year, bars will be set up all over the greens. So get your drink and dance on at Toronto Caribana's premiere outdoor party - Carnival in Yuh Backyard 7!
