- I was dismayed when I came across the review section for Ciao Edie, since it was portrayed in a pretty dismal light. Ciao Edie is pretty phenomenal, if you go with the right crowd, for the right night. I'm guessing that the reviewer happened in on a Sunday night, which is a very estrogen filled space. I can sympathize that this might have made for a bad impression. However, most of your reviews make some suggestions for the style recommended of those venturing out... for Ciao's, Dressed to Impress men are definitely not well received, since it's a female dominated space. However, queer boys, girls, femme, butch and the like enjoy themselves in the company of other like-minded folks on Sundays. The atmosphere has incredible lighting, a very unusual style, great hair and basically, the room just makes people look good. It's small, intimate and very closeknit. Inspite of the more frequent line-ups, the group of regulars has been increasing on Sundays, because people will wait in line for the experience. This may also explain the coldness of the girls to the guy who wrote the last review...it's fierce competition with such a limited capacity. It's a bit ritualistic, same faces, same place... always different but always the same. But if the scene is for you, it never fails.

- I just went with some friends, girls, to ciao edie, i have never been treated shittier in my life.
I have never made anyone feel unwelcome in any space that i have been to, apparently the girls don't feel the same.
Going to a club and feeling like i can talk to anyone is part of why i still do it, after tonight i feel like hiding under my bed and feeling sorry for the state of things today.
