  • I have been to Club 108 many times before. Hovewer after this time I would never come back. At a coatcheck where I went to grab my coat I began talking to my friend, there was no line up behind me. One of the girls handling coats raised her voice and literally began yelling at me. I don't know what she was screaming about but I was schocked. Now, I am doing Club 108 a favour by going there. It seems ridiculous that this is the way they treat their customers and get away with it. Well, fine when I tried to hand in her my paper with the coat number on it, she raised her brows, laughed at me and tapped her finger on the counter thus showing me that she won't take the paper from me unless I put it on the counter. Now, this is humiliating, I have never been treated this way by any other nightclub employees before. The one thing I can say for sure now is that I would never go to Club 108 ever again.

  • If you like rock music, Fridays at 107 are for you! More of a winter bar, this place is packed from September to May probably because of the indoor smoking room. They acquired the super-talented DJ Dwight who has taken the place and turned it around for the better. He spins a great mix of heavy and fun alt. rock tunes and unlike other rock clubs, will actually play your requests.

Some places on the lit up dance floor get a little rowdy at times but security usually steps in when people get carried away. This place attracts a younger crowd (19-early twenties) and a lot of ladies. Dress code: anything goes. You'll find hardcore rockers to those that are barely dressed. The only credential to be a bartender is previous plastic surgery so it seems, but that's another story. Good service, 8+ bars and decent drink prices ($3.50 to start) give 107 an advantage over clubs in Toronto. Body-shot displays at the back may attract some.

The lineup situation varies - sometimes the bouncers are cool and let you in as you get there and other times like to keep people outside for show (I'll never understand that). The VIP line moves quickly and doesn't pay the $10 cover so email ahead and get on the guest list if you so desire. No cover for ladies before 11pm or those who print the flyer on their website. Overall the club atmosphere is fun but can be a little on the sleazy side at times - their website makes it seem worse than it really is. This is minor considering the great music. I should mention the lounge where rap and R & B are played all night, just in case rock isn't your thing.

  • Review for Thursday

Got there at 11:15pm. Front parking lot full. No wait outside as the line was short and moved fast. Waited a few minutes inside for the search.

At this time the place was quite quiet, but would pick up later on. It never got packed, but was busy.

Hosted by Mike Devine from 103.5fm and the DJ was "paul martin"

Music was a lot better than the previous times I have gone there as they played more house. Format was as follows... house for the warm up, 30 minutes of urban, 30 mins house, 30 mins urban, follow by AC/DC, and 2 commercial top 40 tunes. Then House to end it.

The dance floor was never packed, and most of the time there was lots of room to move and groove.

Drinks are always cheap. Service quite fast. Coat check $3.

The age is still VERY young. No dress code of any sorts and it shows. Looks like the 16 yr old girls, I mean "19 yr old ladies" want the "bad boys"

  • This was the second time I’ve been to club 108 and I must say that I am extremely disappointed with the way that my friends and I were treated. We went for my friends 16th birthday and ended up having to leave early because of the security. They threw one of my friends out for no reason. They are abusing their authority! One of the guards was pushing a wall from the hip-hop room and a couple of guys walked by and shoved me into the wall from the other side. The security guard then opened a spaced in the wall and punched my friend who had nothing to do with it. My friend then grabbed the guys arm and they had an exchange of words. Then the guard grabbed his friend. They came and picked up my friend and literally threw him outside. He is very upset and we are made aware of another incidence like this my friend will take it upon himself to charge 108 with assault. I would really appreciate if this review is posted so that anyone attending the club will be previously warned of the appalling way they may be treated. Finally I would like say- I want my money back there is no justification for the way that we were treated. I will never go back to 108. My friends own Corona the nightclub and I must say the atmosphere there is much better than 108. This would never happen at Corona.

  • Thursdays-honestly this club is awesome. great atmosphere in the way that everyone likes to have fun. the crowd is definitely a younger 20's crowd. cheap drinks, crazy hip hop and r&b. jammin reggae and just enough house for the night.(im not the craziest about house but i like some disco balls:)everyone is dressed pretty casual but dressed nicely. the hip hop room is hot but plays awesome music its worth it. theres a bar in there too. the main room has a glass floor thats major trippy. the dance floor is huge. ladies dont wait in line and are free. dont bother with coat check. crazy at the end of the night.theres a bar everywhere u look. for all u biggie fans stay inthe hip hop room....they played "juicy!"anywyas all in all its a great place that doesnt get merely enough credit. have a fun cheap alcoholic nite!

  • The place gets busy but not really packed to the rafters. The lines to get in moved very fast.

$2.50 mixed drinks..108 size of course.

    $3 shooters

$1.75 Molson Canadian light bottles from the beer tubs.

Crowd is looking younger and younger, that are I'm getting old. Lots of ladies to start, the guys come later. A lot more guys that ladies. Service is fast at the bar, especially with the addition of a new bar and lots of beer tubs in the club. Was surprised not to see a fight in the place.

The Music...not the same. Actually a disappointment. Mike Devine is the host and does a great job. The DJ is some guy called """Jimmy Jam""". He is NOT the Jimmy Jam who spins at the B&A partys. He plays 80% urban with a few short sets of house.

    Place empties out early...around 1:30am.

Would I go back.....possibly, but not for the music, just to go out with the guys for some refreshments.
