- My friend is a regular at the Kingdom on Fridays, but I always refused to go with him because it was alternative and retro music. I didn't think I would have a good time, because I didn't think I could dance to these types of music. But last Friday, he got me to go... and I had a good time. The music is not my favourite to dance to and I wouldn't go back unless I was with a big group of friends again. The crowd is a little dark, but everyone was there for a good time. The decor is graffiti on black walls with black lights. The crowd is dressed down. But the CAGE in the retro room is a lot of fun!!! Why don't more clubs have cages?

- First thing: THE KINGDOM ROCKS!
I have been going to the Kingdom - Live to Air with 102.1 since 1995 and have been a regular for the majoity of that time and all I have to say is that what has been keeping me coming back for so long is the great music, above average amount of nice people (but not TOO nice!), the MOSH PIT!!!!!!, and incredible variety of freaky alternative styles, topped off with the fact that 95% of the place is dancing their asses off the whole night!!! I could go on and on... so i will... How many clubs/bars have a kick-ass mosh pit EVERY Friday?!? Not too many that are playing classic and new rock alternative music. Martin Streak is fine, he does his job well. DJ Dwight is somewhat, how you say, miserable. But what can you say, he plays what he is told to so that's okay. Two floors in two rooms. Very spacious, high ceilings. It actually has the main room with the ceiling two or three stories high with a balcony/2nd floor running around the room halfway up that has 3 pool tables lounge areas and yet another bar. There are many bars in the club. Main Room: 1st floor: 2 small bars, 1 medium sized bar, and one bar the size of three medium sized bars that by the end of the night is covered with dancing people. 2nd floor: has 1 medium sized bar. The bathroom situation is not good at this club however, and i hate to tarnish the great review but, its true. Often there is absolutely no toilet paper after waiting in a long line, 3 of 8 stalls will be out of service and the main mirror in the womens bathroom (i havent checked out the mens yet), is quite similar to a fun house mirror and has made me almost nausious on several occassions since they changed it! In addition, they dont have soap and good luck with a paper towel. Also make sure you tip toe the whole time, you dont want to get your pants wet with whatever the hell is all over the floor!!! So you may be asking yourself at this point, "Why then does she still go for soooo many years?". The answer, my friend, is that the kingdom still rocks and for this kind of atmosphere, with so many positive aspects, its still worth it.

- hey, i go to nrg often... i think its a killer club.. it kicks ass.. the music is good and most of the people r cool... the only people i had trouble with is some guys that dont take no from a girl.. like for example..i was dancin with my bud and my two firends (girls) and this guy came up behind her and grabed her arm... and tried dancing with her, and she said no.. he didn't let go of her arm so i pushed him off(becuz she dont like to dance with other people) and we almost got into a fight lol... but my friend pulled me away :S... but other then that i had a good time at nrg.. its always fun! to go there and have a good time.i like how u can smoke at nrg too!!! its great to dance and smoke at the same time until u hit bye a cig :S but i would give nrg 8/10... so go to nrg!!
