  • Customer Service Rating 4/5

I can’t really complain much about the customer service at Menage. In general the bouncers are friendly…they stay where they have to and only make themselves known when necessary. The bar service is quick however I do have one annoyance….some not all of the bartenders who don’t dress your drink. By this I mean if I order a vodka 7, gin and tonic etc. I want my lime on the side of the glass to squeeze in. It’s the same as ordering a Corona and not getting a lime on top. I like my lime! I ate in the bistro as well…service was again average…nothing to rave about however nothing to complain about either. However I think the fact that Menage has been around as long as it has speaks for itself.

    Interior Rating 3/5

Menage is located above Bistro 333…I find the interior could be better balanced however the small adjustment that they did make has been a major improvement itself. That small adjustment was merely moving the DJ booth from the middle of the club to the corner where you walk in. This allows for me dance floor space. However I still find when you initially walk in to be quite narrow and it can be quite the mission to get by at time. Also there were additional stalls added to the ladies room which is now further cramped. Not a fan of the interior. I however do love Menage patio. It’s open, it’s airy and it’s loungey. A place to sit and talk, have a drink or 2 and of course smoke. It’s a lot more open then the inside of the club which is small and sometimes cramped. I also found the inside to get extremely warm…and a lack of air ventilation and Air conditioning.

    Music Rating 4/5

Wednesdays of course are the most famous at Menage for their Live to Air broadcast of way back play backs. To be honest the DJ’s there change frequently however the music is always the same. Old school freestyle and dance with a bit of hip hop/top 40 thrown in the mix. I love my old school beats however the second I start hearing NKOTB I’m a bit turned off.

    Crowd Rating 4/5

The crowd varies on Wednesdays during the summer it’s a lot younger…in the winter older….why because of school! ;) Fridays and Saturdays are not very different. Crowd age group varies from 19-30…mainly gino/gina types of course. Not much attitude though which is good…just everyone looking to dance and of course in true Gino/Gina fashion…looking to go home with a few numbers

The Good: The only club where you can always count on way backs

The Bad: The lack of ventilation inside the club

    Overall 3.75/5

  • I've gone to menage a lot in the past year and since the change of dj the club has really gone downhill. The crowd seemed very young underage even. The place has really taken a dive in the past months it was really disappointing for me because i went to celebrate my bithday. We left the club before midnight we were so disappointed. The music wasn't consistant, the crowd was very immature and the club was just not what it was suppost to be. Overall I'd rate it 2/10

  • This club has gone way down hill....
It used to be the best place to go any night of the week. The music got bad... what happened? Change of DJ?
I admit it used to be a little too crowded, but now there is NO CROWD at all...
Is there a "replacement", this was such a good party, where did the DJ and the good crowd go?

  • My friends and I went to club menage last night and all I can say is I will never go back. The music was decent and the bar was slow but what made us leave after only an hour ofbeing there was the attitude of the majority of people in the "club". Everyone was pushing eachother trying to get a little bit of space to dance and there were quite a few guys who were ready to start a fight with the next person who touched them. The club is small, smoky, and far too crowded. The is the worst clubbing experience that I've had in a long while. DON'T GO HERE!

  • We arrived at approx 10:30 a bit of a line but not to bad. Normally we just walk right in. Newho we arrive and run in EDG and Craig! Have a drink....no Asian Sensation and no MJ! Go back into the main room...harass my good friend Elissa as it was her bday! Had to go back on the patio as it was wayyyyyyyyyyy too HOT in the main room. Ended up meeting and spending most of our night with Ron Hays (retired football player for those who don't know). I got pushed and proded as girls were trying to get to Shawn Desman! :lol All in all it was a goodnight got to see a lot of people I haven't seen in years!

Although...Alex I never got to meet you last night!

Almost gauranteed we'll be back next week!

I give the night a 8/10 (only because too many people and it was too hot!)

  • This bar has seriously declined since I was there a year ago. The DJ is good, bartenders are good, but the security staff will ruin your night. BIG POWER TRIPS. Cowboy busboy and cheesy bleach streaked bouncer push people around as they walk on the dance floor. Go to a place with a better vibe and better service. The place is too small & overcrowded, smells like vomit, and drinks are too expensive. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not return again.

  • I went to club Menage this past Friday night (Friday September 24, 2004) for the grand opening of Freestyle Fridays.

This is the first time I've been to Menage. I didn't expect much and it wasn't anything to write home about. It's located above 333 Bistro... once you get upstairs the club itself has more of a bar feeling to it than a club. Without the outdoor heated rooftop patio this club would actually be quite small but the patio does make it a really nice place. That being said the dance floor is still really tiny. I think it's a good venue for a Freestyle/Euro night because the smaller size of the club makes it look and feel busier. In fact, during the peak of the night, say around midnight, the dance floor was so rammed that you couldn't even move but the club itself wasn't that busy.

The music was mostly freestyle and euro (new and old) and a set of hip hop. DJ Constantine did a really good job with the track selection. I am a little biased because I enjoy euro, but the people I was with and most of the crowd seemed to really enjoy it too. Dom from Club Scene was the MC and did a good job on the mic.

The drinks were average for most clubs, which means they are expensive. $7.25 for redbull + vodka. ~$6 for shots. :)

The sound and lighting were ok. Again, nothing to write home about but they do the job.

It was fairly busy on this night but the club never did fill up to it's potential. On the night I went it was mostly a european crowd, early to mid twenties, and stylish. The big down side was the guy-to-girl ratio ... there were at least four guys for every girl.

Overall, I enjoyed the night mostly because I got to hear good music. Way to go DJ Con.

    8/10

  • I went to menage yesterday for a friends birthday. I have alwasy wanted to go on a Wednesday but since I have been in school for the past 4 years and had to get up on thursdays at 6am I was never able to go. I went last night b/c I have just recently graduated. Yay!!!!

I really liked the club and had an awesome time. We first had dinner at Bistro 333. There was about 16 of us. I made the reservations on the thursday for the saturday. I could only get 9:30 reservations. So if you want early one call before tuesay b/c they tend to be booked by tuesday. Since we had dinner at the restaurant we didnt have to wait in line to get in to the club. The waiter just called up and told the bouncer we were coming up and we got stamped and let up before anyone else in line.

The food at Bistro is really good. There is a great variety of thins g on the menu to meet everyones taste. The price range is from about 8-20 bucks depending on what u order plus a drink.

The club itself was really nice and clean. The bartenders and the bouncers were really friendly. I find some places the staff may ten d to be rude butt hat is not the case at menage. The drinks are a little expensive but the music in there on a saturday is great. It is spun by dj marky d from z103.5 Its a mixture of dance, house, r&b and hip hop, freestyle and way back playbacks. I dont think they played any bad songs last night.

I would give the club a 9 out of 10 but only b/c it is a little small but other then that I would recommend it to anyone!!!!

  • After going to Menage a couple of Saturdays last summer, I finally decided to check it out again last Wednesday. And I must say this place was great! We got there around 11, no cover no line since we were on the guestlist. And no problem with the bouncers either.

When we entered the place was already pretty packed. Overall a very good looking crowd aged 25-30, 80-90 % European. And the girls........... man, I've never seen so many hot ones in one club before. My eyes were turning every time one passed by which was like once every ten seconds :-). Not only that but most of them weren't stuck up like in some places, they were actually pretty easy to talk to.

Marky D was spinning mostly Classic Euro, Freestyle, Dance, and House. I love his DJ-ing style, as long as it's Euro & Freestyle I'm happy. It was good to hear classic euro hits like Memories from Netzwerk, and Mallorca from Loft. The playlist is similar to that of Plastique on a Friday Night.

What I really liked about this club was the outdoor patio (heated during Winter), it gives you an opinion between dancing inside and socializing outside (without actually having to yell). The decor of the club was amazing, it's actually as good as it looks on the site pics. And the drinks were priced average for a downtown clubs (about $5). Still it would have been cool to have $3 drinks like they do in Venue on Saturdays, but I really can't complain since there was no cover.

We left around 2:30 AM, but I will be definetely be going back (as soon as I can).

    My rating: 10/10

  • Last nite i decided to head over to menage for the first time since the summer... and its come a real long way.. the place was packed by 11:00... the heated patio is real nice.. 5 $ cover for guys is dirt cheep.. and the music is amazing... girl guy ratio was pretty good.. but the caliber of girls is what impressed me... cant wait for the open patio this summer..
