- I"ve been reading over the past reviews of Mink nightclub and I'm not sure why the club has received so many
negative reviews. The crowd is better looking and better dressed then most clubs. Sure it has its posers but what
club doesn't. The music is Top 40, nothing to complain about. As for customer service, Mink nightclub is one of the few clubs
that don't hold their line to make appear as if the club is busy, the line up moves fairly quickly. With its renovations,
the club can be easily compared to Lot 332 or Embassy or any of the newer clubs, you have to keep in mind that this club
is fairly older then other clubs. My overall review of Mink nightclub as a regular visitor is 9/10!!

- I haven't been to Mink Night Club since they renovated but wow was I surprised when I entered. When they said renovation, they meant renovation!!
The club looks amazing from the inside now and the patio is probably the best patio in the city. I give the interior 5/5.
However, service at Mink Nightclub is a totally different thing. We had put ourselves on the guestlist days in advanced and were told that
we wouldn't have to pay any cover if we arrived before 11:30. However, it was a busy night and we were told that even though we arrived before 11:30
that we had to pay cover because they are near capacity. I guess the club is only willing to honour the guestlist if they really need you!!
Music at Minknight was okay, same old thing, same top 40 as in all other toronto nightclubs.
The crowd was a decent good looking crowd, nothing to complain about but nothing to write home to mom about either.
Overall, I would give this club a 7/10 and I would go again only if there was nowhere else to go.

- I haven't been to Mink Night CLub in a while so we decided to go for a friends bday
and we ordered a booth for her bday
What Was good about the club:
1. We got in right away and was escorted to our both by the manager i think. The
bouncers gave us no problems get us all in at once. The booth was decked out
nicely, with pillows and was very comfortable after some of my friends passed and
took a nap in it.lol. The girl who serviced us was very nice and brought our
bottles and whatever we needed right away. It was so worth getting a booth, it
wasn't that expensive ranging from 180-270 in bottles. Meanwhile, we did have 15
people.
2. THe crowd was nice and friendly. There were tonnes of hot girls all over the
dance floor the whole night. There are some very good looking bartenders there.
3. The DJ was pretty good, everyone was dancing by 11:00. I was surprised because
most of the time people don't start until atleast 12:00.
4. Mink just renovated and it was done very nicely. I have been to many clubs
before and this one has a nice look to it. Especially the VIP booths, they are
better than most clubs and the club treats you with service and doesn't give you
attitude, i'm sure we have all experienced that before.
What was bad about the Club:
Dress Code: Most of the girls were dress nicely with sexy skirts and dress tops.
But, I noticed some of the guys were dressed like slobs. I thought it was strict
dress code. I've been to clubs where i've seen worse, but still they should enforce
it a little more.
Overall: 9/10
It was a good night. We partyed to about 2;45 then left because our limo was
waiting. I definetly recommend that this is a place to be on a Saturday night, it
was a very sexy saturday at mink night club:):).

- Imagine going out on a Saturday night with a temperature of -25C with wind
chill to a nightclub that you've never been to. This was the challenge that
my friends and I experienced on the grand reopening weekend of Mink
Nightclub this past weekend. We weren't even 100% sure if we were on guest
list, or if it would even matter.
First the bad:
1. Dress code (or lack thereof): For such a beautiful environment, it
is a shame the bouncers didn't really care about the dress code. I say this
as I was jamming with people in combat fatigues (sorry if I'm calling you
out, but c'mon). If you say "strict dress code", please enforce it.
2. Coat check: As you can imagine, -25C = lots of coats. The line up
to check coats was about 20 minutes, and since it's not well organized,
people we're trying to cut in and out. I had to be a jerk and call someone
on it. To that young lady, I'm sorry, but pretty or not, get in line, or
heck, try asking!
Now for the good to great:
1. Guest list actually meant something! We got in less than 5 minutes
after we got there. Mind you, it WAS 10:30pm, but why take chances? Once we
were in and warming up, the next big question: Was anyone going to actually
come out on this frigid night?
2. A beautiful, friendly, fun and huge crowd! There is nothing worst
than a "stoosh" crowd (snobby for the non-W.I's), and this crowd was
friendly. Real friendly. Starting conversation, dancing, was easier than
most places. That is super refreshing. And the majority of the guys weren't
jerks, looking for trouble. Even when my Corona exploded on me and everyone
within 2-3 feet, people were cool. Everyone in general just wanted to have a
good time. And it was a really good girl-to-guy ratio (about 4 guys to 7
girls).
3. A good DJ. I'm not sure who was spinning this Saturday, but he was
dropping hits fromthe moment we walked in at 10:30pm. Most of the time,
people don't start dancing until 11:30 - midnight. The floor was PACKED by
11:15pm. And again, it was a good crowd.
4. Bartenders: Beautiful and super-cool. Especially one in particular,
a beautiful blonde who was wearing a blue halter-top and was jamming behind
the bar. She was friendly and even laughed at my stupid "I'll have a coffee"
joke. Service like that is always valuable.
5. Environment: I had never been to Mink before their renovations, so
I can't compare. But the main floor had a real classic mahogany feel, with
beautiful VIP seats, a warm inviting bar, and a spacious dance floor (well,
as spacious as can be with a crowd that size!)
It's no wonder that the crowd was so warm and friendly, seeing as that
matched our environment. Just a theory.
Based on my wonderful experience that grand reopening Saturday, I would rate
Mink with a 8.5/10.0 rating. My only suggestions would be to get a little
tougher on the dress code, and figure out an intelligent way to conduct your
coat check. Ladies and gentlemen, check this out and you won't be
disappointed!

- I was supprised to see bad reviews for Mink. I have been around the scene
for a long time and know that the hottest clubs come and go, Mink has lasted
a lil longer cause of it's smaller size means lower overhead. I guess I can
see how for some people it might be hard to enjoy for that reason.
However everytime I have gone I have been treated exceptionally well bye the
staff. I have met some of the most beutiful women I have known there, and
although it is showing signs of wear after over 2 years, It was built with
quility materials giving it class above these other big name bars. That
have painted cement floors or cheap VCT tiles.
I have started too frequent the club from out of town and recently met one
of the owners who also seemed to be a genuinly friendly and nice guy. I
will continue to go back and suggest if your haveing second thoughts about
going check the web site out and see if you think you fit in the crowd. It
is how it is described "Very Hot, Very Stylish, and Very Very Sexy!!"

- I was @ Mink on Saturday, for a friend's B-day... I must say that after going to Easy & the 5th (for another friend's B-day - do you see a pattern? :rolleyes ) I thought I saw the worst possible club, BUT (!!!) I was utterly surprised by Mink. We arrive and discover that although we made arrangements, we all (11 girls, 3 guys) will have to pay cover ($10). So we pay and proceed to coat check where we stand in a line-up for 25 minutes. As we stand in line I realized what a mistake I have made..THE MUSIC...I mean..there were people singing along behind me to 'I'm Blue', and other 90's best hits... After coat check we proceeded to go to the washroom. That proved to be a challange, there is this narrow staircase which leads you 2 floors up to the smoker's patio, and washrooms. The washrooms smelled like $HIT, and not just a faint scent, it smelled like the walls were painted with it.
So then we went to the patio, and discovered that the music was better there..(Later 90's music :cool ). Anyways..I got asked to join Max modelling (for the 2nd time) twice, I got hit on in intervals of every 3 minutes (I could write a really funny book about the pick-up lines I got), a fainter scent of shit formed in the 1st floor, and we got to stand in line again (this time for 30 minutes) to get our coats back.

- Me and my two friends decided to check out Mink this past Thursday, hearing about how good the patio was on a Thursday. I'm from out of town, so I was excited to have fun. When we arrived, we went upstairs just to be told we needed a stamp, which was fine. So we went back downstairs (where nothing was happening) just to find ourselves not getting any help. No bouncer would give us the stupid stamp, no matter how sweet we were about it. And we were 3 good looking girls, so I didn't understand the attitute. When we went back up to go to the bathroom before leaving to another club, we noticed the bouncer kept allowing all these ugly guys in - without even checking. I've been to Mink before, and it was still an issue for upstairs, but not as much as this last time. So if you want to go to Mink, you might as well come early to wait in a long line for a stupid stamp, cuz downstairs is dead...! or check out a better club!!!

- Don't trust the good reviews you've read about this club 'cause that's what me and my girls did last Friday and were very disappointed. We got in just before 11:00pm on a Friday night, no line up. There was only about 30 people inside and you can barely hear the music they were playing. We all got a drink (FYI: cocktails are $6 and coolers are $7) and waited around for things to happened. The club slowly began to fill with NOT-very-good-looking people. At this point, I was dying for a cigarette but they wouldn't open the patio until midnight. When we finally got upstairs, we were quite impressed with the patio lay out, but the music continued to suck. We stayed in the patio for one drink and decided to go back downstairs hoping for some better music. When we got back down, there was a pretty long line-up to go to the patio, meanwhile, it was only half-full up there.
Anyway, the DJ still hasn't improve, but we tried our best to dance to whatever he was playing. After awhile, we decided to stand in line to go upstairs and give it another try. Half-an-hour later we were still in line. People started to get rude and obnoxious and were pushing and budding in left and right. So we decided that this club along with the ugly people in it was just not worth our time and we left and promised to never return.

- As far as the crowd goes Mink is alright. But there is way too much hip hop, r&b, and reggae and far too little house. The Bouncers are rude and act as if they're better than everyone else. After calmly waiting in line for a while the Bouncer informs some of the guys in our group they won't be getting in because they don't have a collared shirt on. Since when does wearing a collared shirt constitute upscale clothing? All said and done Mink gets a reasonable rating of 6/10 on my scale.

- Ladies and Gentlemen, Dj's and Mc's, WATCH OUT, THERE'S A NEW PLACE IN TOWN!! MINK NIGHTCLUB is the new hype GUARANTEED!!
I must say that I am an avid fan of Fluid and Money. Both places I go to quite often!!! I have been going there basically for 2 yrs since they have the best nights in T.O. I mistakenly ended up at a birthday party for a friend of a friends at MINK NIGHTCLUB a week ago. I must say that I was very pissed that I wasn't going to home base for a Saturday night(Money)!! It was the long weekend and I ended up at Mink before we went up north for the remainder of the long weekend!! I didn't give it a chance until about 12:45am and then when I got to the patio, MY GOD, the party was crazy!!! It was better than any patio party in T.O. that I've been to, including Sky Bar!!!
I must say that I thought it was a fluke, so I went back this past Saturday to check it out and man it was even better!!! You have to get there early, I would say 11pm. We chilled downstairs in their beautiful lounge and the party was so smooth. Extremely friendly people with an age group of 23-27.
Alot of well dressed people!!! Extremely good looking women, and you could tell that some of them are stuck up, but when you get to the patio later in the evening, that Dj just loosens everyone up!!! I went up to the patio at about 12:15 when I started to see a line form!! I must say that I am into house music. I don't mind r&b but too much can get to me!! This guy was mixing music sooo good, that I had to party to whatever he was playing!!! He started with r&b then he just picked up the party before you knew it!! It went from HipHop to Reggae and then BOOM!!!! I heard some soca, latino beats, hiphop, reggae, house..... But when this guy plays reggae, make sure that you're around the girls because he gets them going!! It was like a high school dance. Girls chilling with the girls and guys with the guys and I kid you not, I was embaressed because alot of us went down to check out Mink and my friends all trusted me!! When they saw that there was no interacting for about 15 mins, my friends thought that it was going to be shit all night!! NOPE!!!!
A couple of the girls and guys with us don't like hiphop or urban music so they went downstairs and they said that when it hit 1:30 hit, they went back upstairs and didn't go back down until we left at 3am!! Now, the Dj's name is Marconi, I asked if he had been known anywhere else, a friend of ours recognizes him from NRG in Burlington. This guy is the best Dj in Toronto right now when it comes to Top 40. He blows away, Im sorry, but all the resident dj's at Fluid, Wed,Fri and Sun aswell as Sun and Sat at Money. I have to say that this guy makes all of the girls who looked stuke up and snobby at the beginning of the night go absolutely crazy!! By the end of the night, everyone was jammin to old reggae tunes and people were still partying when he played a slow song at the end of the night which was about 3am!!! He has me and about 35 of us regulars of Money addicted now to Mink on a saturday night!!
My one friend said that downstairs is solid with house music, limited r&b and was good until 2am... Then he came back up to the patio!!! The drink prices were a bit high, $6.00 but I didn't care!! When you see everyone partying like that, you just want to join it and afterwards you don't mind!! I was ordering 2 drinks at a time because the party was hype and I didn't want to miss anything!! Ladies and Gents, I must say that this party is one to check out!!! I give this place a 10/10!!! So there are no more games to try and play but this one!!!!!! True Party Goer

- The hottest night club on a Saturday night in Toronto is without a doubt, MINK Nightclub. People should check it out. I went to the web site www.minknightclub.com and I had to give it a try. This place is soooo underrated!! The music on the main floor is house and r$b/dancehall. Then there was the patio. GUARANTEED the best one in toronto. Absolutely wicked atmosphere for the true party goer. As for the music, wicked old school house, r$b/reggae and underground house. The patio was still open and the party was still happenning when I left at 3am. The host/mc there is really good, he has the best voice for an MC that I have heard!! And, he's extremely friendly (WOW) He really got the party going, sending lots of shout outs to ALOT of people. It was the most fun that I have had in a long time. People, get there early, cause the patio line up is very long!!!
