- So my friends and I finally decided to check out Muzik Nightclub to see what the hype was all about. I was first shocked at the cover price of $30 but upon entering Muzik Nightclub,
I realized it was well worth it!! The crowd is in their mid 20's and older and all seemed like young professionals. Muzik is probably the only nightclub in Toronto where there are about
1500 people with the majority of the crowd being 25 and older. The music at Muzik is mostly house and R&B with very little hip hop which in my books is a great thing. As
for drink prices at Muzik, they ranged from about $8-$12 which is more expensive then other clubs but I guess this isn't a club you go to if you're on a budget. I would defintely go back
to Muzik Nightclub.

Customer Service Rating 3/5
We went to Muzik on a Saturday night for a birthday. Now this doesn’t really fit into any categories so I’m putting it in here…parking at Muzik has to be the most ridiculous thing ever. You are forced to wait a good 20-30 minutes to park. You have 2 options either park in the pay lot for $10 or do valet parking for $20. Now Valet parking is supposed to get you line bypass which the sign states however it didn’t. There are about 5 different lines at Muzik which makes it confusing to begin with. Then you are ushered into the correct line by a staff member. You wait in the initial line to have your ID checked (the bouncer that does this is the only nice one)…then you must wait in another line to get in. The bouncer there was not very friendly and we tried to talk to him and make jokes as we always do and he wasn’t too impressed and actually made us wait longer because we annoyed him. He even told us! Security inside was not much better. The majority of them had major attitude problems and seemed to be very high on themselves. I was very annoyed already by this. The bartenders were not very quick and had no problem stopping to flirt with whomever in between serving.
Interior Rating 3.5/5
The interior of Muzik is very industrial and has an almost regal feeling to it. However as far as practicality of the space…there is none used. When you walk into the club it is booth after booth after booth. They are crammed into every which corner and section. In the middle of the club there is a “dance floor” and I use this term loosely because there is very little space left for dancing as there is a giant circular stage in the middle for the go-go dancers. There are 3 bars in the club…which getting a drink at is very difficult due to the fact that the club is way overcrowded and you can barely move never mind squeeze in for a drink. Along the back of the club and the sides there are more booths. Now each section has a different minimum order ranging from 3 bottles to 10 bottles. The club does have a large patio called the Muzik Garden. There is only one washroom in the club and I’d suggest not going as you will be waiting at least 20 minutes in the ladies to see the stall. The space is massive and they do need to put in more stalls for the ladies as it’s the worst line I’ve ever seen
Music Rating 5/5
The music at Muzik is the only thing I liked. It was all house the entire night but deep sensual house that made you move. The DJ was excellent and knew how to keep the crowd going and his mixes were smooth and seamless which I loved.
Crowd Rating 3/5
The crowd at Muzik is 21-30 (it is 21+). I found it to be a very pretentious and plastic looking crowd. The girls are overly tanned and wearing shirts for dresses. The men are overly gelled and perfumed and looking to score. I had drinks spilt on me all night with not once a sorry. I was pushed and pulled as the place was over crowded. I felt like everyone I walked by was giving me the once over….then again they were. It seemed to be more of a fashion show then a place to go have a good time.
The Good: The music
The Bad: The service, the crowd and the layout

- Although parking is $20, cover is $20 and drinks range from $12-$20 at Muzik Nightclub. I would have to say its well worth it. The crowd is a really
mature 25+ crowd and it looks as if most people in the club just walked out of a model shoot. The club's interior makes you feel as if you left Toronto and
went to an upscale club in New York or Miami. The music at the club is mainly House and R&B which is nothing to complain about considering most clubs only play
hip hop these days. Muzik Nightclub has to be Toronto's most upscale club, I would definetely go back!
