- Showed up at Rev @ 10:30. The lineup was pretty big, but we managed to bi-pass it.
My first impression once we got inside was "BIG". I had no idea it was that big.
The place had a nice look to it, but what amazed me was there was NO smoking in the club. That was the first club I was able to enjoy because I wasn't crying from the smoke.
The DJ was really good. I would have had a better time, but the music was Hip Hop all night long with all of about 15 minutes of house. I guess he just played it because he was told to play it. Too bad because I enjoy house.
The Purple room was ok. A little hardcore for my liking, but the DJ in that room was good also
As for the people. I'll quote someone, "SausageFest". Ya, the place was full of guys...most of which didn't know how to dress. I guess it being a hip hop night it was expected. The girls could have used some makeovers too.
All in all, I'd say I enjoyed myself mostly because I cabbed it there and started drinking before I hit the club and then finding out the drinks were cheap inside....well, I was nicely hammered by the time we left - about 2:00.
ummmmm Rating: 7/10 (but probably because we hit the club the wrong night)
