PULL UP!!!
Alright so went to Home last night, Sat. May 14th.
GUEST LIST:
Signed up on clubcrawlers' guestlist before 6 p.m (* apparently you're supposed to if you're going the same night*). I got there around 11 p.m and since guestlist finishes at 11:30 p.m my friend and i got in for $5 each. CAUTION: if you arrive there later than 11:30, be prepared to pay at least $20, not the $10-$15 it states on 'details'.
VENUE:
So we had not been to Home in about a year and we were suprised to find it looked a bit cleaner inside.
*The room: It is one big room. As soon as you turn the corner that's it. Don't expect to play Dora the Explora with this club since it's just one room.
*The bar: looks nice, there are 3 of them
*The V.I.P area: is o.k, they have about 3 sections of them
*The bathroom: SCARY!. The doors are beat up, if you manage to find a toilet without an 'x' made of tape on it it's your lucky day.
STAFF: the bouncer and the bar tender were really sweet.
*Because it was pouring outside the bouncer was eager to let us in, especially because we didn't have our coats with us.
*The bar tender was very friendly and helpful in deciding what drink to get. He whipped up an excellent Cranberry and Vodka mix for us. It was delicious.
MUSIC: It was good! A good mix of Hip Hop and Dancehall, a little R&B, and lots of Reggae. Had a guest DJ from BET's 106&Park in that night, which was a nice treat.
CROWD:
*Was good, lots of people enjoying themselves. No rowdy people looking for trouble.
*Age range: early twenties-late twenties
*Ladies: looked hot; they dressed fine and sexy.
*Gentlemen: ...not so much. They were alright. Some of them looked like they were coming from the mall. Tip for fellas: please 'look' like you put some thought and effort. We ladies REALLY appreciate it.
OVERALL: 3.5 out of 5
would've been higher:
*if the guys actually danced instead of nursing their drink and clinging to their boys
*if they played a tad more hip hop -

Awesome club, but don't be fooled. You'll pay upwards of $25 if you miss guest list. Otherwise, awesome music and the girls are usually really hot! Saturday nights are the best nights to go if you want reggae and dancehall. No soca = thank god!

I wanted to ask two questions.
1. Is the manager of this club named Darren. If so I know your uncle Jerome in Maryland.
2. Does the club allow unsigned artist to perform there. -
