Markham Bollywood Extravaganza

The Extravaganza has a fabulous line up of programming - everything from music and dance to children's activities and more will be presented from 12 noon until 10 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a fabulous concert by the original Indian Idol and now popstar and host of Indian Idol, Abhijeet Sawant; watch the beautiful classical movement of Menaka Thakkar's dance company; soca to the rhythmic stylings of SW Storm and the mesmerizing fusion of Flamentkathak with Jorge Miguel; participate in storytelling, cooking, Bollywood dress-up events and talent shows for the children; watch Shiamak Davar's dance troupe performance; dance and bhangra away in true Punjabi style to Bhanging for the Buzz including Dhol Circle, Paul the Drummer Nanuwa, and Double AA, headlined by Josh and all hosted by Canada's own Lisa Ray!
