Director X returns home to throw his 10th Annual Caribana Event on Saturday July 30th, 2011. Hosting this year will be Director X, Nas and Pooch Hall (Derwin Davis from the Game). Past celebrities have included Fabolous, Swizz Beatz, Rick Ross, Big Boi and Cam`ron.

If you're looking for the biggest event in Toronto during Caribana Saturday, then the Sound Academy is where you should be. The Sound Academy is a 5000 person capacity venue with a 1000 person capacity patio and a lake front view making it one of Toronto's hottest venues! This venue features two rooms with two different sounds with DJ's spinning the best in Hip Hop, R&B, Soca and Reggae. DJ's include ATL's DJ Holiday (Gucci Mane's Official DJ), Wikked and Fiyah Kid Steenie.

X (or Lil' X) is a music video director and photographer from Toronto. Director X has directed videos for Sean Paul, Jay z, Rihanna, John Mayer, Kelis, Nelly Furtado and Kanye West. Director X loves Caribana so much he's hosted nine of these parties already! 2011 Artists to be announced but you know its going to be big, its our 10th annual. Previous artists have included Rick Ross, Fabolous, Swizz Beatz, Cam'ron, Vado and Big Boi.
