  • Dirty, Rude, Waitress Stole My Change

    Went for breakfast, alone, at 10 am. There were a few tables. I ordered the toast & jam ($1.99) and a 1 litre of orange juice. There was a huge, dead fly floating in the glass. When I notified the server, she took my full glass of OJ and came back with an empty one, no apology, no replacement. I decided not to say anything. The toast took another 10 minutes to produce. No jam or peanut butter offered. I ate my soggy undertoasted toast, and requested the bill. The waitress was so busy chatting about personal business---why another waitress had quit---to another patron, I had to wait a significant period of time to catch her eye. Bill came--$9.98 plus tax. I put down $15, the waitress responded that she would be back with my change. I waited------the waitress turned and said, "have a nice day, waving." As if she was going to keep a $5.00 tip. Which would not be unusual for me to give-if there was actually service. I had to request my change back, which she gave to me, with a surly look.
    BONUS: when I poured the remaining OJ the next morning-----there was ANOTHER DEAD FLY floating around in it.
    I do not reccommend this restaurant, and will be phoning public health on them!!!!
