I've been to Embassy enough times to give a proper review of it. Iv expirienced it sober, high, and drunk to the point of passing out. Overall its good music, good crowd, but a bit expensive.

Do not call the number (416-827-1343) for bottle service, the promoter is a lying scumbag, they will tell you promotion deals in order to get you down there, then tell you there is no such deal.
I called the number to book a booth at Embassy and the guy told me there is a promotion @ Traffik for 3 smirnoff including 1 bottle of champagne and no cover charge for 8 people.for $280 all in and he will be there to let us in. I said I don't want traffic, then he offered LIVE...what is going on here??
No such thing, there was no promotion and the booth was only covers for 6 people.
Do not call these numbers for reservation, find a reliable source through friends, all they do is lie and get you down there.

Worst club I've ever been to. The bouncers are on complete power trips, refusing to let in people with no real justification. Not to mention kicking out girls because one went to make sure the other one was okay (which to them is completely unacceptable-- though women are told they shouldn't go to bathrooms alone and you should always check up on a friend!) Not to mention homophobic comments were stated.

I personally, who was celebrating my 22nd birthday, was picked up by arm pits and legs and thrown out on to the side area of the club, because I asked for a justification for them being kicked out and being mistreated after pretty much spending a grand at the club. I have cuts and bruises all over me and injuries to my ankle and wrists. I spoke with a police officer, am filing a report and am contacting management.

This is not a safe environment, seeing as you are treated this way by the bouncers. Not to mention there are constantly people trying to steal your bottles (this happened about 3 times)... yet security is so caught up discriminating and worrying about unimportant things that they don't even see the bigger picture.

Also, I might add legally this club is questionable. Last year they let me in with an expired passport-- mind you, I was okay with that... but just think of all the under-aged people they're letting in to this place...

Can't wait to see this place shut down-- long overdue.

Worst club on the planet.

Got kicked out of the bar for being in the same stall as my girlfriend. Told them she hadn't been feeling well earlier and I was checking on her. She was fine. Security immediately called for "back up" and claimed because her eyes were glossy she had been puking and had to leave.

When I claimed it was discrimination they said "Lesbians come here all the time, you can do that shit at home" Implying we were doing whatever in a bathroom stall. The reality is girls go to the bathroom together all the time so we all know that's a ridiculous concern. Not to mention I was in the stall for 20 seconds at most before they made me get out which I left willingly.

Don't know about you guys but there sure isn't a lot of sexy time in 20 seconds, especially since watching someone pee isn't my thing.

Bull Shit place. I highly suggest not going.

Went Last Saturday & It was a MAJOR letdown for me. It truly looks like an all ages party in there! Little kids running around everywhere. I was reading the reviews just now and its so true. Embassy is TERRIBLE!! I only wish I read all these before I went, so I wouldn't have wasted my time and Money! I could write 5 pages on all the bad things that I experienced, but I don't wanna waste my time. If you think I am lying, try it for yourself, I dare YOU!!

well i am just writting cause i took my husband for his birthday there and we got a both and the service was amazing the staff was great. i will definitely go back.
and about the drunk and people throwing up thats at every club lol and i can tell u it doesnt happen there every weekend. friendly people if you dont piss them off lol

i love embassy. my boys since we were 14 work there, the bartenders are really nice always, the bouncers aren't bad or beat you up like other clubs to when they're trying to get rid of you. they switched the DJ to my boy armo so, the music's good. drink prices are pretty much the same as any club. their only downfall is bottle service. for my birthday, i was pretty much bartending my own booth. i wanted a 4th bottle but the waitress was nowhere to be found so i had to go to the bar myself, and wait. then the mixes were done and i had to go to the bar once again to tell someone to come fill them up but its still a good club

Went here Saturday night for the first time, it's true, the crowd is quite average/ugly, the DJ played mostly hip-hop, there is only one room and it's kind of small, and one of the bar areas randomly smelled like urine.. I guess I got what I payed for 10 dollar cover for ladies... Better to head to Tryst up the street (NOT a promoter, it actually true..)

Unorganized bouncers and management. Ugly Crowd/Staff. Almost positive its a pick up location for escorts in the downtown area. The venue itself is beautiful and in a great location they just need to sell it to someone who can clean the place up.

I went to embassy back in sept 2010 and I actually enjoyed it then. The music was great etc. But when I went a couple of fridays ago it was a disaster. I don't know if the music sucked because it was live to air by z103.5 but it was terrible. Mind you i was tipsy so it's not hard to get me to dance but this was just pathetic. We showed up at 1145 ish and I was ready to leave by 12:10. There was barely anyone there and the look of the place wasn't that great either. The bartender was extremely nice. When I called to put me and my two guys friends on the guest list I was told my two friends would get in at 10 bucks each when we got there I didnt have to pay because girls are free on friday but my two guy friends had to shovel out 15 bucks each. In short total WASTE OF MONEY, CROWD SUCKED and WASTE OF MY TIME

Well to start off we had bottle service and a group of 12. The door man made us pay 80 dollars to get in after we waited in a huge line for about an hour. Most of the staff looked homeless on the outside of the club, just a note. After getting in and searched we had to pay another 5 dollars at head to get in. The bottle service sucked. The booth was terriable, randoms kept sitting down. The dj at this place sucked. Changing songs every 15 seconds.. The crowd was ugly, and when I say ugly I'm using that term lightly. The one good thing about this club is they had a unisex bathroom. This place sucks I suggest finding a different venue for even the smallest non important events.

Went there for a friends birthday, there was a drunk girl there and the bouncer was unable to handle her... this guy was a huge guy and he was unable to even keep the girl up and when he took her out, he just let her fall on the cement sidewalk... How did you get hired if you couldn't even hold a girl up?
Second, the crowd is ugly, girls are too cattie, guys act like they've never seen a girl...and stalk you the whole night...maybe that was just me but w.e.
Good thing was, the music was alright and getting in was no problem.

So me and my girls went here for our bdays and let me tell you the music was amazing, our VIP Booth was amazing and we paid for exactly what we got. Crowd was incredible, everyone partied, didn't really see anyone stand around like most clubs but at Embassy mostly everyone was dancing to the good tunes. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good time and celebrate their bdays. Also thanks to mike who helped us book our booth and our bus to embassy this weekend. I give embassy 5stars for the great service

I decided to go to Embassy for my birthday with a party of 20 people. I called one of the promoters in advance to order bottle service (two bottles) and get everyone on guest list. I was told with the order of two bottles that 10 people get in for free and the remainder pay $5 cover. Everything was almost too good to be true. My friend had called in advance to confirm dress code for guys regarding stylish athletic shoes which club apparently allowed. When we arrived we had to wait in the rain to get in. The bouncer told us that only the people getting bottle service could be in the "fast lane" everyone else in the party had to go wait in the other line regardless of "guest list", and at first they said guys weren't allowed in with stylish athletic shoes. We ended up all getting in after a while. Everyone in the party ended up having to pay something regardless of bottle service or guest list. Only 3 or 4 of us paid $5 to get in and the rest had to pay $15 for guys and $10 for girls. Everyone was giving us different information and no one knew what they were doing. Once we got to the booth, the bottle service ended up being $20 more than we were all told. Random people continuously were coming and sitting down in our booth and the bouncer said nothing. We all ended up having a pretty good time, music was pretty good although we had to make it a good time. The staff was not accommodating what so ever. If planning on going to Embassy do not believe what you are told or what you see on the websites, but then again you may have to experience it for yourself. Good Luck!
