The Raq Lounge was first established in 1997, long before the facelift of Queen Street West occurred. The Raq Lounge was one of the first bars to arrive in this neighbourhood and there have been many changes over the years. As the changes in the community occurred, so did the needs of its residents. Raq n Waq is no longer simply the local billiard, we are the local bar/lounge and we have become a destination for our neighbors.
