NYE 2012 at the Sheraton
Submitted for FAME MEDIA by Andrea on Jan. 4, 2012
In the details it clearly states that there is supposed to be a three course meal but we only received two courses and 2 bottles of wine per table and instead we were told by the wait-staff and management that we were only allowed 1 glass per person. By 10:30pm the beer had run out and the staff had to reimburse people who already bought beer tickets which in turn created a huge line and wait time. Before midnight, the champagne glasses had also run out and the staff were asking people to bring whatever glasses they had left on the table to pour champagne into. It also states that there is supposed to be a "midnight dessert station for all in attendance" however, only the people that happened to be in the hallway at the time were able to get dessert because there clearly was not enough for "all in attendance". It also states that there was supposed to be a showgirl’s performance but there was no performance. To make matters worse, when we asked management to speak to an owner, they told us "they are hiding". We paid a lot of money for false advertisement and an overall poorly run event and was not satisfied. My friends and I will not be recommending any of your parties nor will we attend any of your events again.

2012 NYE

The 2 course meal followed by the 1 glass of wine was a terrific kickoff to a poorly run evening.. The showgirls or lack of because no one saw any or the beer that ran out before midnight or the desert station that was destroyed within minutes... You can get the drift of what type of night it was!!! This was an expensive night for which I was extremely disappointed...

We were at the NYE 2012 at the Sheraton in Toronto and found the event poorly organized. Of the 3 course meal, we did not receive the pasta dish, of the 2 bottles of wine promised per table, only one was served, and we didn't get dessert. In addition, we missed our champagne for the bringing in of the New Year since we were not advised that it was being served at our table. An announcement 10 minutes before midnight would have been greatly appreciated. We expected the event to be better organized, being held at the Sheraton.
